TVS Motors India launches the new NTORQ 125 XT. The company claims the latest variant of the 125cc scooter features segment-leading technology. The NTORQ 125 XT gets new styling, additional features and first-in-class connected features. The TVS SmartXonnect also brings enhancements.
The new variant of NTORQ 125 comes with a starting price of INR 1,02,823 ex-showroom Delhi. Currently, the NTORQ 125 XT will only be available with a disc brake. The new TVS NTORQ 125 XT is now available across all TVS dealerships across the country.
Starting with the styling, the NTORQ 125 XT gets a new paint scheme – Neon Green. The new paint scheme is unique to the variant. This makes it stand out from all the other variants in the lineup.
The NTORQ 125 XT gets significant upgrades when it comes to technology. The scooter now features a coloured hybrid instrument console. The company claims it is a segment-first feature. The SmartXonnect connectivity platform brings more than 60 features. In addition to this, it also features first-of-its-kind SmartXtalk.
The SmartXtalk features a significantly improved voice assistant feature which accepts commands for various functions. These functions include changing modes, adjusting the screen brightness, navigation, changing songs, etc. The scooter also talks back to the rider with alerts such as low fuel warnings, rain warnings, battery warnings and more.
A new SmartXtrack feature also lets you keep track of notifications on the weather, news, cricket and even social media updates. Additionally, the scooter also enables you to track food delivery status. The company says this feature is available on a two-wheeler in India for the first time. Users can set up a profile image for themselves as well as for contacts, which will show up on the display.
The latest variant continues to use the same 124.8cc, 3-valve, air-cooled engine. The engine also features TVS’ Race Tuned Fuel Injection (RT-Fi). The engine produces 9.4 PS of power at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 10.5 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Additionally, the XT variant also gets a new IntelliGO start-stop technology. The new start-stop technology aims to increase fuel efficiency in urban conditions.
