One of the most reputed two- and three-wheeler manufacturers in India, TVS Motor Company, has launched a new Marine Blue colour for its popular TVS NTORQ 125 Race Edition. The new colour option will be available alongside the existing Race Edition Red colour that TVS says has been loved by the Gen-Z through the years.
TVS has priced the new TVS NTORQ 125 Race Edition in Marine Blue at INR 87,011 ex-showroom. The brand says bookings, as well as deliveries for the latest shade, have begun at authorised TVS dealerships across India.
The new three-tone combination of black, metallic black, and metallic blue lends the new Marine Blue colour option a feeling of being unmistakably different and standing out from the rest. Furthermore, it continues with the vibrant race-inspired chequered flag graphics, which make up for a distinct style statement.
TVS says the NTORQ 125 Race Edition draws its design inspiration from a stealth aircraft. Thus, it sports sharp and aggressive styling with a signature LED headlight and taillight. The ‘Race Edition’ emblem on the scooter further accentuates the brand’s racing pedigree. Other highlights include the sporty stub muffler, diamond-cut alloy wheels and a textured floorboard.
The TVS NTORQ 125 is also packed with features. Key features include a pass-by switch, dual side steering lock, an engine kill switch and a parking brake. For even more convenience, it comes with an external fuel fill, USB charger and TVS’ patented EZ centre stand. The scooter also gets TVS SmartXonnect, unlocking a host of smart connected features.
TVS has not made any changes to its mechanicals. Thus, it continues using the same 124.8cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with a 3-valve SOHC valvetrain. The engine also features fuel injection and produces a peak power of 9.38 PS at 7,000 rpm. Meanwhile, the peak torque figure stands at 10.5 Nm at 5,500 rpm. TVS says the NTORQ 125 Race Edition can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in just 9 seconds and hit a top speed of 95 kmph.
