TVS Motor Company has introduced BSVI compliant versions of their popular Apache RTR 200 4V & Apache RTR 160 4V motorcycles. The bikes have been positioned as 2020 models and the production has already begun. Obviously, the prices of the 2020 BSVI Apache motorcycles have gone up.

For 2020, the TVS Apache RTR 4V series of motorcycles come with new full LED headlamp, new claw style position lamps, new Race Tuned-Fuel injection ‘RT-Fi’ for better throttle response, better fuel economy, and controlled emissions. The new bikes also come with GTT – Glide Through Traffic function which reduces knocking at low speeds allowing for a smoother ride. Both models also come with new livery / body graphics.
Powering the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is a 197.75cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, 4-stroke motor producing 20.5 PS of power @ 8500 RPM and 16.8 Nm of torque @ 7500 RPM matched to a 5-speed gearbox. This model also comes with the latest SmartXonnect feature which allows for smartphone pairing with the bikes full digital speedometer cluster. The bike also gets a dual-channel ABS system with RLP (Rear wheel Lift-off Protection) and a slipper assist clutch. Radial tyres are now on offer as well.
Powering the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is a 159.7cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, 4-stroke, 4-valve motor producing 16.02 PS of power @ 8250 RPM and 14.12 Nm of torque @ 7250 RPM matched to a 5-speed gearbox.
The 2020 TVS Apache RTR 4V motorcycles will come with feather start system, new ignition key, new mirror design and the same throaty exhaust note.
The Apache RTR 200 4V will be sold in black and white paint options while the 160cc sibling will be offered in red, blue and black paint schemes.
