TVS Motors wants to keep the old Apache 160 alive even though they have launched the new Apache RTR 160 4v. The brand has now launched a Race Edition of the old TVS Apache RTR 160 in a white paint option priced at INR 79,715 (ex-showroom). This is a limited period special edition, and could also be the final rendition of the old Apache RTR 160.
The Race Edition is available in two variants:
- Front Disc + Rear Disc Brake – INR 79,715/-
- Front & Rear Disc Brake – INR 82,044/-
What’s different? The new white paint job with red decals on the tank, rear panel & front mud guard. Everything else remains identical to the standard motorcycle.
Powering the TVS Apache RTR 160 is a 159.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke, SI motor producing 15.12 PS of power and 13.03 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed gearbox. The Apache 160 series does not get ABS.
