TVS launches Apache RTR 160 4V with Dual Channel ABS & Voice Assist at INR 1.35 lakh

TVS Motor Company’s flagship motorcycle festival – Motosoul concluded its third edition in Goa last weekend. The brand at the prestigious event introduced the new Apache RTR 160 4V with Dual Channel ABS and Voice Assist. The brand launched the motorcycle at the price of INR 1,34,990 ex-showroom, Tamil Nadu. The company also claims that the TVS Apache RTR 160 Dual Channel ABS and Voice assist is the most powerful motorcycle in its segment. With Voice Assist and Dual Channel ABS shows TVS Motor’s commitment towards safety.

The new TVS Apache RTR 160 with Dual Channel ABS and Voice Assist comes new features and weight reduction. The TVS motorcycle also comes with safety features such as Dual Channel ABS with Rear Lift Protection. The Apache RTR 160 4V now also gets SmartXonnect with Voice Assist. The motorcycle also gets three riding modes, LED headlamps and LED DRLs.

TVS also claims that the bike has now shed 2 kgs of overall weight. This means that the power-to-weight ratio is now improved. TVS also claims that the Apache RTR 160 4V with Dual Channel ABS and Voice Assist has the highest Power-to-Weight ratio in the segment.

It continues to be powered by the same single-cylinder 160cc oil-cooled 4-valve SOHC engine. The motor produces 17.6 PS of maximum power and 14.7 Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle also gets a double cradle stiff synchro stiff frame with telescopic front fork and mono shock on the rear. The bike also comes with disc brakes on both ends with petal rotors.

TVS Petronas Partnership

Another important announcement that TVS Motor Company made at the event was the extension of the brand’s partnership with Petronas. TVS claims that the 2 season partnership is still going strong and has 80% wins across different race formats in India. The brand also announced that TVS-Petronas merchandise will also soon reach stores in India.
