TVS Jupiter ZX Disc with ‘i-TOUCHstart’ launched at INR 69,052

Chennai-headquartered TVS Motor Company has launched the TVS Jupiter ZX Disc with ‘i-TOUCHstart’ priced starting at INR 69,052 ex-showroom, Delhi. The TVS Jupiter ZX Disc with ‘i-TOUCHstart’ is available in three colour options – Matte Starlight Blue, Starlight Blue and Royal Wine. 

The TVS Jupiter ZX Disc with ‘i-TOUCHstart’ is an upgraded version of the TVS Jupiter ZX Disc variant and features a new silent and instant starting system that boasts to be ideal for repeated starts in stop-go traffic. The new i-TOUCHstart system also claims to improve battery life and boasts to be a maintenance-free system.

The TVS Jupiter ZX variant now also comes with a new single ignition, steering lock, seat lock and fuel tank cap integrated into a single keyhole enabling the rider with all the functions in one place. The TVS Jupiter ZX variant also comes with disc brake offering a superior rider safety quotient. 

Powering the TVS Jupiter ZX Disc with ‘i-TOUCHstart’ is a 110cc single-cylinder air/fan-cooled engine equipped with Ecothrust Fuel injection (ET-Fi) technology and an integrated starter generator system that produces 8 Hp of power and 8 Nm of torque matched to an automatic gearbox. The brand claims that the TVS Jupiter ZX Disc with ‘i-TOUCHstart’ delivers 15% better mileage, better start-ability, refinement along with durability.

The TVS Jupiter ZX Disc with ‘i-TOUCHstart’ comes with features such as LED headlamps, 2-litre glove box, mobile phone charging point, 21-litre under-seat storage space, telescopic front fork suspension on the front, an adjustable suspension on the rear for rider comfort, alloy wheels, beige inner panels with an ergonomic dual-tone seat, chrome finished mirrors and silver-finished pillion grab rail. 

Recently, TVS Motor Company’s two-wheeler arm has registered sales of 243,788 units in July 2020 as against 265,679 units in July 2019 where the domestic market registered sales of 189,647 units in July 2020 as against 208,489 units in July 2019.
