TVS HLX has over 3.5 million customers overseas, know more

TVS has announced that the brand has achieved sales of over 3.5 Million units in the international markets for the TVS HLX commuter motorcycle. The TVS HLX series was first introduced in the African markets 10 years ago. TVS reveals that the HLX is now available in more than 50 countries. In addition to the African markets, the brand now retails the HLX series in Asia as well as Latin America.

Now, the brand is also offering a new TVS HLX 150F in the international markets. The TVS HLX 150F comes with added safety features as well as a powerful and efficient EcoThrust engine. The TVS HLX 150F also comes with superior suspension and graphics.

TVS HLX 150F – Overview

In addition to this, the TVS HLX 150F comes with a trapezoidal LED headlamps unit and a semi-digital instruments cluster. The motorcycle also comes with a pillion grab rail with enhanced hand grips and a rear load carrier. The HLX 150F also comes with tubeless tyres and front disc brakes, enhancing its safety and reducing anxiety.

TVS is offering the HLX 150F with three colour options in a bold and black theme. Furthermore, the commuter motorcycle also gets a new seat style and Eco-Charging port. TVS also reveals that the EcoThrust engine with IOC technology claims to offer better power, fuel economy and engine life. The HLX 150F also comes with lower maintenance that converts into more savings.

TVS HLX Series – Technical Specifications

Powering the TVS HLX 150 series is a 147.49 cc single cylinder air cooled 4-stroke engine. The engine produces 12 Hp of power and 12.3 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox and a wet multiple clutch. TVS also offer both electric and kick start on the HLX 150 series motorcycles.

In terms of size, the HLX measures 2040mm in length, 745mm in width, 1150mm in height, and 1295mm of wheelbase. The motorcycle comes with a generous 195mm of ground clearance and a commanding seat height of 834mm. The TVS HLX 150 gets 12 litre fuel tank with a 2 litre reserve and 119 kgs of weight at the kerb.
