TVS Motor’s upcoming new bike based on the 310 platform was seen alongside Sudarshan Venu, MD. This could be called either the Apache RTR 310 or Apache 310 Street. TVS will launch the bike officially on 6 September 2023.

TVS Apache RTX : more Details

It has been widely known that TVS is working on a new 300 cc naked motorcycle. This will be nothing but a street fighter version of the Apache RR 310. Hence, this bike could come with LED lights, aggressive styling and will target the younger generation.

Before finalising the name, TVS could have trademarked one of the potential names. The Apache RTX could be one of them. Further, even if the bike maker has no immediate plans to use this name, a trademarked name will come in handy at a later point of time.

What’s new in the TVS Apache RTR 310?

The new Apache RTR 310 is uniquely designed unlike any TVS bike. It gets a new design, including a new sub frame amongst other changes.

It was widely speculated that the Apache RTR 310 would be based on the BMW G310R, but the spy images reveal it to be entirely different. Infact, even the front forks on the TVS are different in size as compared to the ones of the BMW.

Other hardware elements like the wheels, discs and LED lights appear to be all-new. Further, the bike carries an attractive yellow and grey colour scheme. The exhaust unit on this particular specimen appears to be a no-production exhaust. It is likely that a sports exhaust could not be offered on the production version.

Powertrain of the TVS Apache RTR 310

This bike is likely to use the same 310cc single-cylinder engine. This liquid-cooled unit will belt out 34 BHPand 28 Nm of peak torque. TVS is likely to offer a six-speed gearbox. Other features on this bike could include different modes along with a full-colour digital display. TVS could also offer smartphone connectivity.
