TVS has launched the new Apache RTR 160 Black Edition in the Indian market at the price of INR 1,20,420 ex-showroom. The new 160 series is christened ‘A Blaze of Black’ Dark Edition and comes with a Black colourway. TVS claims that the Apache RTR 160 Black Edition comes with best-in-segment performance features. This includes riding modes, digital
LCD cluster, LED headlamp and taillamp as well as Glide Through Throttle (GTT). In addition to the RTR 160 Black Edition the brand has also launched the RTR 160 4V in the Black Edition.
The dark themed motorcycle comes with a black on black colourway. The motorcycle features black front fairing along with a black fuel tank and black tail cowling. In addition to this, the side panels feature carbon fibre texture finish and red contrast stitching on the seat. The Apache RTR 160 also comes with black finish alloy wheels with red rim tape. The bike also comes with minimal graphics design and a black TVS logo embossed on its tank. In addition to this, the bike also comes with a blacked out exhaust.
Powering the TVS Apache RTR 160 is a 160cc oil-cooled single-cylinder motor with ram air assist. The engine produces 17.55 PS of power and 14.73 Nm of torque. The 4-valve SOHC engine comes with a 5-speed gearbox. The RTR 160 also comes with Double cradle Split Synchro Stiff Frame, a Telescopic Fork on the Front and Monoshock on the Rear. The motorcycle comes with a 12-litre fuel tank, 180mm of ground clearance and around 144 kg of weight at the Kerb.
