TVS Apache RR 310 goes virtual, now in Gameloft’s Asphalt 8: Airborne game

TVS Motor Company and French video game publisher Gameloft have announced a new partnership. Under this initiative, the Indian bike manufacturer’s flagship motorcycle, the Apache RR 310 will be featured in Gameloft’s Asphalt 8: Airborne video game. This makes TVS the first Indian two-wheeler manufacturer to take its product into the virtual realm.

On the occasion of this announcement, Vimal Sumbly, Head Business – Premium spoke about the collaboration with Gameloft. Further, he also mentioned that the partnership would help spread awareness about the TVS Apache brand. It will target a wider audience while at the same time engage existing customers online.

Thanks to this new virtual partnership, gaming enthusiasts will now be able to compete with each other. They will use the TVS Apache RR 310 to compete against each other. Apart from this, racers will also be able to see the TVS Apache branded booster. Virtual billboards in the game will also get the TVS Apache branding. The Asphalt 8: Airborne will also get a new TVS Apache World Series.

About TVS Apache RR 310

The TVS Apache RR 310 gets ride-by-wire, a new 5-inch vertically stacked TFT speedometer cluster, Bluetooth connectivity with SmartXonnect and 4 riding modes. The riding modes include Urban, Rain, Sport and Track. The brand claims that the riding modes will differ in the engine and ABS performance to help make a difference depending on the riding condition.

The bike is powered by a 312.2cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke and BS6 compliant petrol motor that produces 34 HP of peak power and a maximum torque of 27.3 Nm. The engine is matched to a 6-speed gearbox along with a slipper-assist clutch and the bike also has the new GTT+ Glide Through Traffic Technology Plus feature which allows for easy riding at low speeds. The bike gets a dual-channel ABS system and rides on Michelin Road 5 tyres.

Recently, the TVS Motor Company announced the opening of its first Experience Centre in Singapore. With this, the Hosur-based manufacturer has expanded its presence to global markets. TVS aims offer its premium range of motorcycles, notably the Apache RR310 and the Apache RTR range, in the South-East Asian country.
