TVS Apache Racing Experience, GP Championship announced in 20 cities

TVS has announced a new initiative for Apache owners. The Hosur-based bike maker will launch the TVS Apache Racing Experience GP Championship in 20 cities. This will allow Apache owners to learn racing techniques and participate with their bikes in a controlled yet thrilling environment.

TVS Apache Racing Experience, GP Championship : More Details

TVS Apache Racing Experience (ARE) was first started back in 2007. Under this program, the Apache riders will get a chance to gain new experiences and get guidance under TVS Racing champion riders and instructors.

In the first season, there will be over 1,000 customers spread across 20 cities. These can participate and learn the various track racing techniques across three categories. These include owners of TVS Apache RTR 160 & TVS Apache RTR 180, those riding TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and finally owners of the Apache RR 310.

The first city to host this will be Vadodara on 15th July 2023, followed by Surat and Hyderabad on 16th July 2023.

One winner from each city per category will be shortlisted for the final round. The final round is scheduled to be held in January 2024.

Prizes for the winners

The finalists will get a chance to race in the TVS One Make Championship Race Spec motorcycles. These include the TVS Apache RTR 200 & RR310 race spec machines. Further, the winner will get an all-expense paid trip to Malaysia for the Motor GP. THe winner will also get a wild card entry in two rounds of the TVS OMC RR310 along with Petronas TVS Racing Merchandise as well.

TVS RTR 310 : More Details

Spy images of what appears to be the TVS RTR 310 have leaked online. The much anticipated bike from the house of TVS was clicked during an ad shoot, which means that the launch will be happening pretty soon. It was widely speculated that the Apache RTR 310 would be based on the BMW G310R, but the spy images reveal it to be entirely different. Infact, even the front forks on the TVS are different in size as compared to the ones of the BMW.
