TVS has been selling the Apache series in India for nearly 18 years now. As it stands today, it currently has five distinct models in the lineup. TVS recently mentioned it has sold over 5 million Apache bikes worldwide. This has come 27 months after it crossed the 4 million units sales milestone, in October 2020.
TVS Apache Lineup Has Sold More Than 5 Million Units
The Apache line-up has been a popular offering in the TVS lineup. In fact, it has been the most recognised and sought-after brand for TVS. Over the years. it has evolved with the times. Hence we get to see models like the RR 310. This super motorcycle gets features like a Bluetooth-compatible colour TFT display, riding modes and a slipper clutch. In 2021, TVS brought the BTO (Built-To-Order) kit for its flagship product. This allows the customers to add on features such as adjustable suspension, racier clip-on handlebars and foot pegs as well as a special colour option.
However, it is not just the range-topping Apache that equips all the bells and whistles. TVS has added a few of these features to its more accessible priced offerings. Even the INR 1.45 lakh Apache RTR 200 4V now gets a respectable amount of features. This includes features such as dual-channel ABS, riding modes, preload-adjustable suspension at both ends, a slipper clutch, radial tyres and adjustable brake and clutch levers.
TVS’s Lineup Of Motorcycles Enjoying Good Demand
The Apache RTR 160 4V is one of the only motorcycles in its segment to offer a 4-valve engine, thus making it one of the most refined 160cc motorcycles. Despite that, the Apache RTR 160 2V and RTR 180 still enjoy healthy demand in some parts of the country. To further add to the delight, TVS has recently updated both models with features such as an LED headlight and taillight and Bluetooth connectivity.
We understand that TVS has plans to launch the highly anticipated naked version of the Apache RR 310 in the coming months.
