Triumph Trident 660 bookings open at INR 50,000 with EMI of INR 9,999

Iconic British brand Triumph Motorcycles has commenced accepting pre-bookings on the upcoming Triumph Trident 660 across all Triumph dealerships in India. The much-anticipated roadster can now be booked by putting down an initial amount of INR 50,000. The booking amount is refundable up to 100% until the price announcement of the motorcycle. Furthermore, the brand has also announced that the new addition into the Roadster portfolio is also offered with a special finance scheme with an EMI of just INR 9,999 for a limited period and only available for the Trident 660.

The premium middleweight roadster is powered by a Triumph Triple 660cc three-cylinder liquid-cooled 12-valve DOHC motor that produces 81 PS of power and 64 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The Trident features a tubular steel perimeter frame with 41mm inverted ‘separate function forks’ (SFF) from Showa on the front and a preload-adjustable Showa monoshock rear suspension unit. The braking duties are handled by dual 310mm floating discs with Nissin two-piston sliding hydraulic callipers on the front and a single 255mm disc with Nissin single-piston sliding hydraulically operated calliper on the rear equipped with a dual-channel ABS for safety. 

The Triumph Trident comes with an impressive electronics package that includes a Triumph brand incorporated new 7’-inch rounded full LED headlight, LED tail-light with the Triumph badge, self-cancelling LED indicators, colour TFT multi-functional instruments cluster with a ‘white-on-black’ LCD display, My Triumph Connectivity System accessory module, ride-by-wire technology, Road and Rain riding modes, adjustable traction control and ABS all as standard. 

Highlighting the timeless design with all the contemporary features are the four colour themes that the Trident 660 is offered with – Silver Ice and Diablo Red, Matte Jet Black and Matte Silver Ice, Sapphire Black with Diablo Red and Aluminium Silver decals, Crystal White with Diablo Red lines and Jet Black decals. The brand also offers a best-in-class 16,000 km service interval and 2-Years with Unlimited km global mileage warranty. 

The Trident 660 is expected to be available in Triumph dealerships from late January 2021.
 With the addition of the Trident 660, Triumph has expanded the roadster line-up in India which already comprises of the popular Street Triple R and the Street Triple RS.
