Triumph Bonneville T100 & T120 Black edition launched starting at INR 8.87 lakh

Iconic British motorcycling brand Triumph has launched the Triumph Bonneville T100 and T120 Black Edition in the brand’s modern-classic portfolio with the T100 priced at INR 8.87 lakh ex-showroom, India and the T120 priced at INR 9.98 lakh ex-showroom, India. Both motorcycles are mechanically identical to the standard bike but replace the chrome embellishments and other parts with black elements. 

In terms of styling, the Triumph Bonneville T100 Black Edition features a completely black theme with a rounded headlamp with blacked-out bezel ring, a blacked-out engine with polished cooling fins, blacked-out mirrors instead of chrome, black turn indicator housings, black spoked rims and twin-skin peashooter exhaust in matte black finish. The larger-engined T120 Black also gets similar blacked-out styling on its engine, exhaust, mirror, headlamps and wheels but the bike also gets a black finished pillion grab rail and tan seats to distinguish itself from the smaller sibling.  

Mechanically, both the T100 and the T120 feature a tubular steel cradle chassis with a twin-sided tubular steel swingarm, 41mm KYB conventional telescopic front forks with 120mm of travel, preload adjustable KYB twin shocks with 120mm of travel, 310mm single disc front brake on the T100, 310mm twin disc brakes on the T120 and 255mm single disc on the rear armed with ABS. 

The Triumph Bonneville T100 Black is powered by a 900cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder, 8-valve, SOHC engine with a 270-degree crank angle that produces 54 Hp of power and 80 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed gearbox. The T120 Black is powered by a 1200cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder, 8-valve, SOHC engine with a 270-degree crank angle that produces 79 Hp of power and 105 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed transmission unit. 

Other features include electronic ride by wire throttle, torque-assist clutch,  switchable traction control, an LED taillight, USB charging, Immobiliser along with heated grips, Road and Rain riding modes on the T120. 

The Triumph T100 Black is offered in two colours – Matte Black & Jet Black, while the T120 is available in – Matte Graphite & Jet Black.
