Triumph Motorcycles has just revealed the latest addition to its adventure lineup, the all-new Tiger Sport 800. This new model will most likely replace the existing tiger 850 Sport.
The Tiger Sport 800 retains Triumph’s iconic adventure styling but incorporates fresh updates to enhance its appeal. It features a sleek, aerodynamic design with sharp lines and a muscular stance. The motorcycle comes equipped with an LED headlight, a tall windscreen, and an adjustable seat height.
The instrument cluster is fully digital, featuring a large TFT display that offers comprehensive information and connectivity options. Riders can connect their smartphones via Bluetooth to access navigation, music, and call functions. Additionally, the bike comes with switchable riding modes, traction control, and cruise control, ensuring a safe and enjoyable riding experience.
The motorcycle will be available in four colours – Blue, Yellow, Black and Grey.
At the heart of the Tiger Sport 800 is a new 798cc, three-cylinder engine that delivers an impressive 113 horsepower and 84 Nm of torque. This powerful engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox, offering smooth and responsive performance. The motorcycle is built on a lightweight chassis with a fully adjustable suspension, making it agile and capable of tackling various terrains.
The Tiger Sport 800 also boasts a high ground clearance and comes fitted with dual-purpose tires, making it suitable for both on-road and off-road adventures. Braking duties are handled by dual disc brakes at the front and a single disc at the rear, equipped with ABS for added safety.
The new Tiger Sport 800 might come to India later next year. It will go up against the Ducati Multistrada V2 and the BMW F900 XR. Expect it to be priced around INR 12 to 13 lakh.
