Renowned British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has launched its latest Street Scrambler 900 Gold Line edition for the Indian market. Priced at INR 9,95,000 (ex-showroom), Triumph has launched the bike alongside 5 other Gold Line Edition bikes. Triumph has also stated that the Street Scrambler 900 Gold Line Edition will witness a 1-year limited production run. With the launch of this bike, Triumph intends to showcase the hand-painted gold lining skills of its expert paint shop.
The motorcycle manufacturer states that the hand-painted gold lining skill takes years of expertise, patience, and the steadiest of hands. The process begins with a two-colour base scheme where the meeting point between the two colours undergoes a flattening procedure. The process then continues with a hand-applied, continuous gold pinstripe by the artist via a specialized soft-bristled sword-liner brush. Finally, the painting process is complete after the application of a final clear coat of lacquer to seal the pinstripe.
For the Gold Line Edition of the Street Scrambler, Triumph has ensured to introduce custom premium styling and paint detailing. The bike sports a Matt Pacific Blue colour scheme with a Graphite stripe, gold Triumph logos, and a ‘gold line’ logo. For enhancing its rugged style and exclusivity, the bike features brushed foil knee pad graphics with hand-painted gold linings.
Additionally, the Street Scrambler 900 features premium Matt Jet Black coloured mudguards and a Street Scrambler logo on the side panels. Triumph also offers an accessory fit matching Matt Pacific Blue flyscreen with a high-level mudguard to enhance its Scrambler style.
Powering the new Street Scrambler 900 Gold Line Edition is a Euro-5 compliant, 900cc, High Torque twin engine. Along with a distinct tune, the engine delivers 65 PS of power and 80 Nm of torque. To enhance riding comfort and handling, the bike features 41mm, high-specification cartridge front forks, and preload-adjustable twin rear shocks.
With 120mm of wheel travel on both ends, the bike features 19-inch rims at the front and 17-inches at the back. For braking performance, the bike sports a single 310mm, floating front disc with a 4-piston, floating Brembo calliper, and ABS. At the rear, the bike sports a single 255mm disc with a 2-piston, floating Nissin calliper, and ABS.
