Triumph launches Bonneville Speedmaster in India for INR 11.11 lakh

Triumph Motorcycles has announced yet another product in their Bonneville range, the Speedmaster. Brought to India via the CKD route, the Bonneville Speedmaster has been priced at INR 11,11,500 including the most recent announcement of 5% hike in CKD. The Triumph Speedmaster is based on the Bobber which was launched in India last year.

Powering the Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster is a 1,200cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, 8-valve, 4-stroke, SOHC motor producing 77 HP of power @ 6100 RPM and 106 Nm of torque @ 4000 RPM matched to a 6-speed gearbox with multi-plate assist clutch. For your aural pleasure, the Speedmaster comes with chromed stainless steel 2×2 exhaust system.

The bike is built around a tubular steel chassis and gets 16″ wheels. Front suspension is a 41mm KYB setup while at the back you have a KYB monoshock. Instrument console has a digital display to share information about odometer, gear position indicator, fuel gauge, DTE, service reminder, clock, trip meter, fuel efficiency, traction control status and an analogue speedometer.

The Bonneville Speedmaster has a dry weight of 245.5 kg.

Other features include swept-back handlebar, heated grips, old school headlamp, forward pegs for the rider, dual seats, spoked rims, 12L tank matching the T120 styling, classic styling for throttle bodies, ride-by-wire, LED headlamp & tail lamp, traction control, ABS, 2 riding modes, torque assist clutch, cruise control, engine immobiliser & Brembo brake setup.
