Triumph Motorcycles has launched the new Bonneville Bobber in the Indian market at INR 11.75 lakh ex-showroom. The brand has brought back the Bonneville Bobber in the Indian market after a one year gap due to its high demand. The new Bobber comes with features such as blackout finishing, a BS6 emissions-compliant engine, enhanced performance & high specification equipment.
The Bobber features minimal steel fenders with a centre ridge and returns edge—all the signature stylings of the Bobber. The motorcycle comes with full-LED lighting and LED bullet indicators. The headlight also features Triumph’s signature LED Daytime Running Light. The new bike also gets 2021 new black engine covers, cam cover and sprocket cover. The motorcycle also comes with a new bezel on the instruments cluster, including a metallic embellished and Bonneville branding. The instruments cluster also features a new dial face, with translucent silver markings and an easily accessible handlebar mounted scroll button.
The 2021 Triumph Bonneville features a 16-inch fat front wheel and 47mm front forks, giving the motorcycle an imposing front look. The muscular bike features a classic wire-spoked design rim in black, shod in Avon Cobra tyres designed explicitly for the Bobber. The motorcycle comes with an authentic hard-tail look, featuring a floating aluminium seat with mono-shock suspension. The Bobber also gets a distinctive “swing-cage” swinging arm that balances control, stability and comfort.
The Bobber comes with a seating position that offers comfort and control for riders of all sizes. The seat can be re-positioned ‘up and forwards’ or ‘down and backwards’. As standard, the motorcycle comes with a 690mm seat height which is highly accessible for any rider. The seat is ergonomically optimised and sculpted for comfort and comes with a stitched deep foam pad.
Powering the Triumph Bonneville Bobber is a 1200cc high torque parallel-twin engine. The 270-degree firing order on the engine produces 78 PS of power and 106 Nm of torque. The Bobber comes with two enhanced riding modes – ‘Road’ and ‘Rain’. The 2021 Bonneville Bobber also comes with a high service interval of 10,000 miles or 16,000 kilometres.
The 2021 Bonneville Bobber also has the previous generation Bobber’s authenticity, engineering and chunky style. In addition, the brand is also offering a range of 77 genuine accessories that includes several options for the motorcycle. This consists of a choice of seating options with adjustable seating and footpeg position. The accessory range also consists of a high bar set-up and luggage options.
