Triumph Motorcycles is celebrating 61 years of its popular Modern Classic ‘Bonneville’ range of motorcycles and Triumph Motorcycles India is offering free accessories worth INR 61,000 on the purchase of any its four Bonnevilles – The Street Twin, Speedmaster, T100 and T120. The brand is also offering the Modern Classic range at a starting monthly EMI of INR 9,999, valid for a limited period across all Triumph dealerships in the country.

The Bonneville legacy started back in 1955 when Triumph set the land speed record by clocking 311 km per hour at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. The record was held for 15 years and paved the way for the new range of Triumph modern classics. The iconic Bonneville of today was born in 1959 and is one of the most sought after motorcycles. The first road-legal Bonneville was the world’s fastest motorcycle in the 650 CC segment in several racing competitions across the world. The brand has inspired many generations of young riders backed by its rich heritage.

Depending on model the new generation engine comes in two different states of tune. The Street Twin, Street Scrambler and the Bonneville T100 feature a ‘high-torque’ HT 900cc Bonneville engine, while the ‘high-torque’ HT 1200cc Bonneville engine on the Bonneville T120 develops 54% more torque over previous generations and the Bonneville Speedmaster comes with the unique ‘Bobber tune’ delivering even more torque lower down.

The entry-level motorcycle in the Modern Classic range is the Triumph Street Twin powered by a BS6 compliant 900cc parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 8-valve SOHC engine with 270-degree crank angle and multipoint fuel injection that produces 65 PS of power and 80 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed gearbox.

Triumph Motorcycles India is also offering free accessories on Triumph Bonneville T100 and the Bonneville T120. The Bonneville T100 is powered by a 900cc parallel twin-cylinder engine same as the Street Twin but produces 54 Hp of power and 80 Nm of torque. The T120 however, is powered by a BS6 compliant 1200cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder, 8-valve, SOHC engine with a 270-degree crank angle that produces 79 Hp of power and 105 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed transmission unit. The offer is also valid on the Speedmaster which shares its powertrain with the T120 but is tuned to produce 76 Hp of power and 106 Nm of torque and a 6-speed transmission.

Over the years, Triumph Motorcycles have expanded its range of Bonneville motorcycles and offered different Bonneville models in the following segments – roadsters, café racers, bobbers, and cruisers.
