As per the latest reports, Hyundai has updated the feature list of the Creta yet again. The base trim of the SUV now comes with a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). And hence this is now a standard fitment across all the variants of the Creta. In addition to this, there are some other aesthetic updates as well. The rear taillights are now LED with a gloss black trim. This new feature addition has bumped up the ex-showroom price of the Creta. The SUV now starts with a sticker price of INR 10.75 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base E trim.
First, we need to know what exactly is TPMS? The full form, which reads as Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, does give us an idea. This is a system that helps to monitor the air pressure of the tires in real-time. This is a handy feature in terms of safety. Incorrect tyre pressure often leads to accidents, poor fuel economy, and increased tyre wear due to underinflation. Several countries have already mandated for the new cars to get a TPMS as standard. In India, this safety feature is not compulsory as of yet. But, we are witnessing that many car manufacturers are now providing this feature.
Ever since Creta made its entry into the Indian market, the product has been a hit. We go this far and say that Creta is the product that set the current SUV trend that we are witnessing these days. Being a Hyundai, the car gets all the latest features. In addition to this, Hyundai’s brand name, which has performed so well in the country, also helps in winning the trust of the customers. With Creta, customers also get a wide range of options in terms of engine and gearbox. This further helps in expanding the target audience and boosts the sales. As of today, Creta has become a status identity, and every Indian aspires to own one.
