Toyota will add 87 new PRO Service centres which can also service non-Toyota cars

Toyota Kirloskar Motors has announced that the company has teamed up with new dealer partner to expand the brand’s service network in 87 new locations across the country. Toyota Kirloskar Motors is launching multiple PRO service centres to cater to the increase in the number of Toyota vehicles in smaller cities and towns across India. The PRO service centres are being launched in those cities and towns which so far did not have Toyota service centres. 

The Pro Service Centres are equipped to service any type of Toyota vehicle and provides services such as free service, regular paid periodic maintenance, minor general repairs and minor body and paint repairs as per Toyota standards. Furthermore, these PRO Service dealerships are also free to cater to clients that do not own Toyota cars too. The PRO Service Centre will receive parts supply directly from Toyota Kirloskar Motor along with technical and operational support to ensure that they meet Toyota’s global standards.

The brand also revealed that the PRO Service workshop owners and dealers will work in close collaboration with Toyota Dealers to ensure that not only the customers but other stakeholders also benefit from the model. Currently, TKM has a total of 396 outlets and 79 dealer partners across India. 

The brand has announced that the new PRO Service Centres are operational in Narnaul (Haryana), Nagaur (Rajasthan), Jorhat (Assam), Kharagpur and Asansol (West Bengal), Morbi, Patan and Palanpur (Gujarat). Further 80 locations of the network are proposed to become operational by the end of 2020, significantly increasing the networks reach. The PRO Service Centres have dedicated service facilities that do not have any sales operations. 

In September 2020, Toyota Kirloskar Motors recorded sales of 8116 units showing a growth of 46% compared to August 2020. In August 2020 the company had sold 5555 units. In the same period last year, Toyota Kirloskar Motors sold a  total of 10,203 units. The brand also exported 708 units of the Etios.
