Looking to get the top trims of the Innova Hycross? You just might have to wait a little longer. All thanks to the massive demand and ongoing supply challenges. Toyota has currently temporarily halted the bookings for the top-end variant of the Innova Hycross. Thus, the ZX and ZX (O) hybrid variants are not available for sale. We assume Toyota will resume the bookings once everything gets back into place and the situation improves.
Noteworthy to mention, the bookings for the mid trims, i.e. VX and VX (O) hybrid variants are still on. These variants retail in the price range of INR 24.76 lakh to INR 26.78 lakh. In fact, the regular petrol variants too are readily available for bookings. We would like to point out that a similar situation happened with the Hilux as well. And how Toyota has resumed its bookings after several months.
The Hycross is available with a 2-litre petrol engine. Customers can have this engine with a strong-hybrid system as well. Without electrification, the Hycross makes 174PS and 205 Nm, matched to a CVT. The strong-hybrid combination belts out up to 186 PS matched to e-CVT (single-speed transmission).
The Highcross is the premium Innova as Toyota likes to call it. And hence it comes loaded with a long list of features. This includes the likes of a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment, a digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, and second-row powered Ottoman seats. In terms of safety, we get up to six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, TPMS, a 360-degree camera, and radar-based ADAS.
Prices for the Toyota Innova Hycross currently fall in the range of INR 18.55 lakh to INR 29.72 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). In terms of other options, customers can look at Kia Carens, Tata Safari, and Mahindra XUV700.
