In July 2023, Toyota Kirloskar Motor India achieved its highest-ever cumulative sales. They sold a total of 21,911 units. Of these, 20,759 units were sold domestically, while 1,152 units were exported. This impressive performance reflects a 10 per cent increase compared to July 2022 when the company sold 19,693 units. Moreover, Toyota experienced a month-on-month growth of 12 per cent, having sold 19,608 units in June 2023.
Toyota Continues Its Growth Story
The growth story continued into the first four months of FY 2023, with Toyota recording remarkable achievements. May 2023 was a remarkable month, as the company achieved its highest monthly wholesale sales ever with a total of 20,410 units sold. From January to July 2023, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) sold a total of 124,282 units. This proves a remarkable 31 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2022, during which they had sold 94,710 units.
The impressive growth extended to the first four months of FY 2023 as well. Toyota witnessed a substantial increase in sales, recording 77,439 units sold. This represents a remarkable 26 per cent growth compared to the same period in FY 2022, during which they sold 61,506 units.
Toyota attributes its remarkable growth to the successful launch of new vehicles such as the New Innova Crysta, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Innova Hycross, and Hilux. Additionally, steady sales across its entire product line have contributed to this achievement.

The month of July has been tremendous for Toyota. The brand also highlighted the overwhelming response to their entire product range, including popular models like the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Innova Hycross, Fortuner, Legender, New Innova Crysta, and Camry. The versatile Hilux and the Cool New Glanza also played a significant role in attracting customers.
