Toyota India has launched the Innova Crysta Limited Edition in the Indian market. The new Limited Edition will use the Innova Crysta GX petrol as its base. As a part of the Limited Edition, the GX petrol variant will come with a few additional accessories. The accessories will be installed at the dealer level at no additional cost.
Prices for the Innova Crysta Limited Edition start at INR 17.45 lakh ex-showroom for the manual variant. Meanwhile, the automatic version of the Limited Edition will retail for INR 19.02 lakh ex-showroom. According to dealers, the Limited Edition will be available till October end or till stocks last.
Based on the mid-spec GX variant, Toyota is offering a few dealer-installed accessories that were earlier available for additional cost as free with the Limited Edition. Thus, helping push the sales of the Innova Crysta petrol. The Limited Edition gets accessories like Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), a head-up display and wireless charging for phones. As per the dealers, these accessories amount to INR 55,000.
The Innova Crysta Limited Edition is only available with a petrol engine. Thus, it uses a 2,694cc BS6-compliant 4-cylinder 16V DOHC motor. The engine also features Toyota’s Dual VVT-i technology and comes with two Drive Modes – Eco & Power. The petrol engine makes 166 PS of power at 5,200 rpm and 245 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The Innova Crysta petrol is available with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic with sequential shift.
The Innova Crysta uses a double wishbone suspension with a torsion bar at the front. Meanwhile, the rear uses a 4-link suspension with coil springs. As for the brakes, it uses discs at the front and leading-trailing drums at the rear. It rides on 205/65-section tyres with 16-inch alloy wheels and tips the scales at 1,730 kg. Meanwhile, the automatic version is a bit heavier and weighs 1,745 kg.
