The Toyota Kirloskar Motor has marked an achievement of 1,00,000 units of sales of its Innova Hycross in India. Innova Hycross was launched exactly two years ago, that is, in November 2022, in the Indian market. On its two-year anniversary, it has bagged this achievement, which clearly indicates how well it has done with its Indian customer base. Lets the see the engine spec and features it has offered.
The Innova Hycross is built on Toyota’s advanced Global Architecture (TNGA) platform. The MUV was launched at the introductory price of INR 19.77 lakh (ex-showroom). The car has a four-cylinder DOHC petrol engine that produces the power of 173 hp at 6600 rpm and 209 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm. It is mated to an automatic (CVT) gearbox. On the other hand, the hybrid (petrol+electric) four-cylinder DOHC engine generates power of 184 hp at 6600 rpm and 188 Nm of torque at 4400 rpm, which is also mated to an automatic (CVT) gearbox.
The exterior of the car comes with a panoramic sunroof, alloy wheels, LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, LED fog lamps, and a metal finish front grille.
Interior features summed up by a digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, multi-zone climate control AC in the front and rear, USB charging port, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, speakers at the front and rear, and roof-mounted air conditioning vents.
Looking at the safety features, the MUV has ABS (Anti-Braking System), ESC (Electronic Stability Control), hill start assist, cruise control, auto high beam, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, lane trace assistance, blind spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, pre-collision warning alert, child safety lock, 6 airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and an anti-theft function.
