Toyota Hilux bookings open again, priced at INR 33.99 lakh

Toyota Hilux Pick-up 4X4 was first introduced in India at the start of 2022. But, just a few weeks after launch, Toyota had to halt bookings of the Hilux. This was because the pickup truck garnered more than expected demand. But in 2023, there is good news. Toyota India has reopened bookings for Hilux from today. Interested buyers can book the same by visiting authorised dealerships or online. Interestingly, prices remain the same as before. It is available in 3 variants namely STD, High and High AT. Prices start from INR 33.99 lakh, INR 35.80 lakh and INR 36.80 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.

Toyota Hilux – A Brief Overview

Hilux comes in the colour schemes of Emotional Red, White Pearl Shine, Silver Metallic, Gray Metallic and Super White. Key design features include a hexagonal front grille, swept-back LED headlamps with LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, winged mirrors, electrically adjustable ORVMs, massive bumpers, flared wheel arches, rugged body cladding and 18-inch alloy wheels.

On the inside, the cabin is done up with fabric seats in the base variant. Meanwhile, the top-spec model gets leather seating. Top features also include manual AC, a manually adjustable driver seat (on the base trim), an 8-way powered driver seat (on top spec trims), along with tilt and telescopic-adjustable steering. The pickup truck also gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. There’s also a TFT multi-function display, 6 speakers sound system and a cooled glove box.

Key Safety Equipment

In terms of safety, Toyota Hilux equipment includes a total of 7 airbags, speed sensing door lock function, ABS, EBD, cruise control and park assist system. Toyota is also offering an A-TRAC traction control system with the Hilux. 2023 Hilux Pick-up also gets 700mm water wading capacity. The equipped Limited Slip Differential with electronic diff lock and rear diff lock come into play under extreme off-roading conditions. The other safety equipment list includes vehicle stability control, whiplash protection for front seats, anti-theft alarm and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
