Tork Motors has announced that the brand has rolled out the brand’s first electric motorcycle – ‘Kratos’. The first Kratos rolled out on the occasion of Gudi Padwa from the production plant in Pune. The brand also mentions that the ‘Beast is ready to be unleashed’. Tork also reveals that the Kratos deliveries will commence in April 2022. The company also announced that the brand would initially be catering to the Pune market.
In addition to this, Tork also reveals that the Kratos R participated in the Pune Alternate Fuel Conclave. The summit was held between 2nd April 2022 and 5th April 2022. The Tork Kratos R generated more than 5,000 enquiries during the 4-day event. The brand also delivered 1,500 test rides of the electric motorcycle, during the gathering.
Tork has revealed that the Kratos and Kratos R will come with a price tag of INR 1.07 lakh ex-showroom and INR 1.22 lakh ex-showroom, Pune (Post-Subsidy), respectively. The motorcycle features multi-drive modes with reverse mode. The brand also comes with daytime running lights (DRL), guide me home lights and hazard lights. The bike also comes with Tork’s proprietary TIROS system with a built-in 4G service. The Tork Kratos also comes with a single White colour option, and the Kratos-R in White, Blue, Red and Black colour options.
The Tork Kratos & Kratos-R come with a highly-efficient Axial Flux electric motor. The motor comes paired to a 4 kWh TORK LIION battery pack that claims a range of around 120 km on a single charge. The Kratos can also sprint from 0-40 kmph within 4 seconds, along with a max speed of 100 kmph. On the other hand, the Kratos R is capable of a maximum speed of 105 kmph and accelerates from 0-40 kmph in just 3.5 seconds. The motorcycle also features an intelligent battery management system that records data from four different temperature sensors, voltage and current for real-time analytics.
