Tork KRATOS-R ‘Urban’ variant launched at INR 1.67 lakh

Tork Motors has announced a new variant of the popular KRATOS-R. The electric motorcycle’s latest trim is called Urban and is targeted towards city dwellers. The company has set the price of the new variant at INR 1,67,499 ex-showroom Pune.

Based on the KRATOS-R, the Urban variant comes with some extra features. These include a new City Mode, 70 km/h top speed and range in excess of 100 km on a single charge. Tork is offering three colours on the bike. These are Streaky Red, Oceanic Blue, and Midnight Black.

In terms of powertrain, the all-electric motorcycle gets a 4.0 kWh battery which powered the patented Axial Flux motor. According to the company, this has an efficiency of 96 percent.

Buyers of the Tork KRATOS-R Urban will get a complimentary suite of features for the first 30 days. This includes multi-ride modes (Eco, City & Sports), reverse mode, fast charging, in-app navigation, live dash over Bluetooth, vehicle locator, anti-theft system, geofencing, charging point location, OTA updates, ride analytics, track mode analytics, smart analytics and guide me home lights.

If the owners find these features useful, they will be able to unlock these at a cost of INR 20,000 within the first six months of purchase.

The motorcycle features multi-drive modes with reverse mode. The brand also comes with daytime running lights (DRL), guide me home lights and hazard lights. The bike also comes with Tork’s proprietary TIROS system with a built-in 4G service. The Tork brand first commenced operations in Pune, followed by other cities pan India.
