Kia India recently organised a specially-curated customer experience, ‘The Carens Drive’, for its customers on August 7, 2022, in Delhi-NCR. This event was foreseen and supervised by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI). As part of this drive, a total of 22 Carens customers competed on an 84 KMs drive to derive the best mileage from their cars. The drive was flagged off from Stellar Gymkhana in Greater Noida and went on till Jewar.
Details Of This Drive Event
There were a total of 4 categories in this drive. That is, petrol and diesel powertrains mated with manual and automatic transmissions. Then finally, the Carens Drive concluded with 4 winners and runners-up, each of whom claimed the best mileage from their variant. Each of the competing Kia Carens had at least 3 people on board. Kia confirmed that the highest mileage claimed was 29. 8 KMPL by Vipin Tyagi driving his Diesel Kia Carens with a Manual gearbox.
The average mileage achieved by all participants stood at 23.5 KMPL. Events like this also provide a customised brand experience to the customers. Carens has become a very appealing offering from Kia’s stable. The three-row MPV has won many hearts since its launch this year. This experiential drive also shows Kia’s commitment and dedication to its customers. This drive has helped to build a sense of connection with Caren’s family.
High Mileage As A Buying Factor
The mileage the customers have achieved with 3 or more people sitting in the Carens is a really positive aspect. This testifies to Kia’s quality engineering. With the fuel prices rising high, a fuel-efficient car is what Indians are looking for. Given the target audience for Carens, which is a proper family car, a high mileage figure comes in as a boon. When most car makers are parting their way away from diesel power mills, Kia has decided otherwise. And diesel being a diesel, will always rank highly in terms of fuel efficiency.
