The Tesla Cybertruck has been spotted multiple times out on the road. However, this time around, it seems like Tesla has brought the Cybertruck to an off-road area for testing.

Off-road testing of the Tesla Cybertruck

The location of the testing seems to be the Hollister Hills SVRA in Monterey, California. In one of the videos, we can see three trucks going on the ‘The Stairs’ obstacle.
Over the course of the video, we can notice that the Cybertruck seems to be in an off-road mode due to the highest suspension setting. That said, the Cybertrucks did seem to take a little extra time to clear the course. This, however, could be attributed to certain testing being conducted on the vehicles at the same time.

Design of the Cybertruck

The Cybertruck gets sharp exterior design and is made up of scratch and dent resistant stainless steel. The side profile looks like a wedge while the truck is made up of angles. Very few panels are curved. There is no exterior colour offered, as the truck gets a brushed metal finish on the stainless steel. Tesla also claims that the EV is bulletproof to up to 9mm bullets.

Performance of the Cybertruck

The Cybertruck is available in 3 configurations – single, dual and triple motor set-ups. The single motor is a rear wheel drive variant while the dual and triple motor are all-wheel drive. The EV rides on adaptive air suspension while the approach and departure angles are claimed to 35 degrees and 28 degrees respectively. The bed of the truck measures 6.5 feet and has a load rating of 1,588 kg. The truck can also tow up to 6,350 kg of trailer.

According to Tesla, the top-spec Cybertruck can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. Depending on the variant, it offers a maximum range of 402-805 km on a single charge.
