Tata recently introduced the Tiago iCNG in the Indian market. The Tiago iCNG is the brand’s first CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) powertrain hatchback. The rise of fuel cost and the increasing pollution especially in metro cities has led customers towards affordable and greener solutions. CNG has a solution for both. The gas is nearly half the cost of petrol and comparatively produces less CO2 emissions, hitting two birds with one stone.
In this video review, we bring you all the details of the Tata Tiago iCNG. We talk about the exterior design, the interiors and features as well as how the car drives. Also, below is a technical comparison with Tiago’s CNG powertrain direct rival, the Maruti Suzuki Celerio S-CNG.

The same engine in petrol mode makes 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. The engine comes paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox and no option of an AMT gearbox as provided on the petrol-only models.
