At the VIVO IPL 2021 in Dubai, Tata Motors launched two new Festive Editions of the Tata Safari SUV. The new editions of the Safari are called White Gold and Black Gold. The new cars were symbolically launched in the City of Gold – Dubai, but now we got to experience the new Tata Safari White Gold and Black Gold in the City of Dreams – Mumbai. The Tata Safari Gold comes with cosmetic changes as well as some new additions to the features list. Here are the changes on the new Gold edition Safari, compared to the standard SUV. The Safari White Gold edition comes with a new gold finish grille and Humanity Line. The SUV also comes with gold finish trim on the headlamp, a gold finish Tata logo on the front, rear and a gold finish SAFARI moniker on the rear. The White Gold edition also gets gold finish trim on the roof rails and exterior door handle. The car also features a new Frost White exterior colour with a pearl Black roofline and black alloy wheels. The car also features a premium #Gold badge on the front fender.
On the inside, the White Gold edition comes with a new Mont Blanc Marble finish mid pad. The new dashboard fascia comes with subtle golden accents adding a completely new interior look to the car. The White Gold edition also comes with a gold finish Tata logo on the steering wheel, gold finish AC vents, gold finish Humanity Line on the inside, gold interior door handles and premium White diamond-quilted leather upholstery with gold stitching and #Gold embroidery on the headrest.
The Safari Black Gold edition also comes with a gold finish Tata logo on the front and rear. Along with this the SAFARI moniker on the tailgate also comes with a gold finish. Similar to the White Gold edition, the Black Gold also comes with a gold finish grille, Humanity Line and headlamp trim. The Black Gold Edition also comes with gold finish exterior door handles and gold roof rail trim. The Black Gold edition also gets a premium #gold badge on the front fender. The brand offers an intense Coffee Bean inspired Black exterior paint on the Black Gold edition.
On the inside, the Black Gold edition comes with a new premium Dark Marble finish mid pad. The dashboard applique features intricate gold finish lines, adding to the premium look of the interiors. The Black Gold edition features, door handles, AC vent trims, interior Humanity Line, and Tata logo on the steering wheel, all finished in Gold. The car also gets premium White diamond-quilted leather upholstery with gold stitching and #Gold embroidered on the headrests.
Tata has added some premium features to the Tata Safari White Gold and Black Gold special edition vehicles. The Tata Safari Gold edition has become the first vehicle in the segment to offer both 1st and 2nd-row seats with ventilation. Yes, the captain seats in the second row also come with ventilation improving the comfort quotient of the car, especially for the hot and humid weather in India. The SUV now also comes with a wireless smartphone charger and wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay. The brand has also integrated a new Air Purification system within the air-conditioning system, that purifies the cabin air and also display the Air Quality Index on the infotainment screen.
