2020 Tata Nexon grille design revised, Tri-Arrow changed to Bi-Arrow

Tata Motors has tweaked the lower grille design of the much-popular Tata Nexon compact SUV. The lower grille design which comes with a highlighted tri-arrow theme has been changed to bi-arrow design on select variants. The Nexon variants that get the new bi-arrow design highlights are the XZ+, XZA+, XZ+(S), XZA+(S) and XZ+(O), XZA+(O). The change is seen only on the internal combustion engine (ICE) powered by Tata Nexon and the Nexon EV continues to feature the tri-arrow accent finished in Blue.

The updated Tata Motors website displays the change, where three left-hand side bi-arrows have white/silver highlights on the 12’o clock and 8’o clock arm, the central single one comes with 8’o clock and 4’o clock position and the rightward arrows are highlighted on the 12’o clock and 4’o clock position. 

Other than the changes mentioned above, the Tata Nexon in terms of design remains unchanged and features external highlights such as a chrome-accented Gloss Black radiator grille, silver skid plates, black inserts on the fog light area, black plastic cladding on the doors, white window underliner, roof rails, electric sunroof, Automatic Headlamps and Rain Sensing Wipers to mention a few. 

The Tata Nexon continues to be powered by a BS6 emission compliant 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged Revotron petrol engine that produces 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed manual transmission and an option of a 6-speed AMT gearbox. The Nexon also comes with a diesel motor, a BS6 compliant 1.5-litre turbocharged Revotorq diesel engine that produces 110 PS of power and 260 Nm of torque available in a 6-speed manual as well as a 6-speed AMT transmission. 

Recently, the brand launched the new XM (S) trim on the Tata Nexon vast variant line-up. The XM(S) is available in both petrol and diesel options with a manual gearbox as well as the XMA (S) AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) automatic option and boasts to be the most affordable Electric Sunroof vehicle in the Indian market. 

The Tata Nexon is priced starting INR 6.99 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi and the XM(S) trim mentioned above is priced at INR 8.36 lakh ex-showroom.
