Tata has recently confirmed at one of the investor meetings that Tiago and Tigor are going to receive a mid-life facelift in the new year. Both models were launched in 2016 and received its first facelift in 2022. So this will be its second facelift wherein cosmetic and some new feature update will be seen in both the models. However, exact information on these updates has not been shared by them. Let’s see what both the models currently offer to the customers.
Tata Tiago Powertrain:
Tiago was introduced at the starting price of 5 lakh (ex-showroom). The petrol variant is backed up by a 1.2 litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated Revotron engine that generates the power of 85 bhp and a torque of 113 Nm which is mated to 5-speed manual transmission and AMT. The diesel variant has the same engine that generates 72 bhp of power along with 92 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Tata Tiago Features:
It comes with 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, a digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, a USB charging port, Automatic headlamps, a parking sensor at the rear, a cooled glovebox, LED DRLs. When it comes to safety, it has scored 4 stars on the NCAP test. It has ABS, EBD, ESC, TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) and two airbags.
Tata Tigor Powertrain:
Tiago was introduced at the starting price of 6 lakh (ex-showroom). Powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder, NA Revotron petrol engine; it produces the power of 85 bhp and a torque of 113 Nm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and AMT. On the other hand, the CNG variant produces a power of 72 bhp and a torque of 92 Nm and comes with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Tata Tigor features:
LED DRLs, LED lights, LED stop lamps, 15-inch alloy wheels, TFT display, automatic climate control, cooled glovebox, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Coming to the safety features it has ABS, EBD, TPMS, ESC and two airbags. It has also bagged 4 stars in NCAP test
