Tata Motors will deliver 3,500 XPRES T EVs to BluSmart Mobility

India’s vaccination milestone achievement has led to people resuming their work commute along with re-opening the shared mobility market. Following the launch of their XPRES-T EV in September 2021, Tata Motors has signed an MOU with BluSmart Mobility. Tata Motors carried this out to expand their all-electric fleet across the Delhi NCR region and supply 3,500 XPRES-T’s. The MOU signed by the companies marks a key milestone for the electric fleet market since customers prefer environment-friendly vehicles.

BluSmart Mobility in Delhi

BluSmart Mobility offers an all-electric service across the Delhi NCR region and has gained massive approval from customers. Thanks to providing valued reliability and service to customers, the brand has witnessed more than 250,000 app downloads. The mobility company has completed 700,000+ rides to date and covered over 22 million km using EVs. BluSmart Mobility takes pride in partnering with women drivers who receive an opportunity to earn without any ownership hassles.

Tata Motors XPRES-T: Detailed Highlights 

The new XPRESS-T EV sports two high energy density battery packs of 21 kWh and 16.5 kWh, respectively. With an ARAI tested range of 213 km and 165 km, respectively, Tata offers the XPRESS-T in two trim options. The automaker offers the EV with zero tail-pipe emission, a single-speed automatic transmission, dual airbags, ABS with EBD as standard. Charging times from 0-80% are 90 and 110 minutes for the 16.5 and 21.5 kWh battery packs, respectively.

Electric Vehicle Sedan Charging

The EV sedan supports fast charging capability along with the standard 15 A wall-mounted plug point. Tata offers the EV with a black interior colour scheme, automatic climate control, and Electric Blue accents throughout. Currently, Tata Motors holds a 70% market share in FY22 and has crossed 1000 unit volumes in September 2021. Thanks to increased demand across all sectors, customers have recognized and embraced Tata Motors’ vision of creating a sustainable future.
