Tata Motors ‘Wheels of Love’ initiative supports new parents

Tata Motors announces a special initiative called ‘Wheels of Love’. This programme aimed towards new parents will support them to start an exciting new journey as a parent and at the same time also take care of the organization duties held by them. Three key points which include, progressive culture of care, inclusion and sensitization will help in guiding the parents to this new experience.

Key Aspects of This Programme

Tata Motors will make sure that their employees have a smooth transition to their work-life by following some basic points which include, announcing pregnancy at the workplace thus understanding the manager’s dilemma, effective management of work deliverables, job handover, maternity leave management and transition back to work, dedicated counselling sessions for new parents to help them with the emotional and psychological challenges, mother and manager guides to help navigate through the various phases of maternity, becoming a parent, one-to-one coaching sessions for pregnant/new mothers and their managers to know more about their issues, assigning a buddy to the new mothers to keep in touch with her workplace during the maternity break, starting a employee resource group which is a special community of new parents, to engage, share learnings and experiences, webinars on relevant topics, including guidance on preparing for newborns, childcare responsibilities for dual-career couples, and much more

Tata Motors February Sales Figure

For the month of February, the company sold close to 27,225 units which are the highest ever sales for a month the brand recorded in nearly 9 years. The newly launched Safari is getting a lot of positive responses from the market. The Nexon is pretty much the bread and butter for Tata Motors, in fact, the electric version of the compact SUV, Nexon EV was the top-selling electric vehicle for the 2020 year. There are rumours doing the rounds in the media about a new launch from Tata Motors, which will be a sub-4-meter crossover. It will lock its horn with the new introduced Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger and thus we can expect Tata Motors to put on a starting price of INR 5 lakhs (ex-showroom).
