Tata has showcased the Tiago EV Blitz at the 2023 Auto Expo. It is just a cosmetically revamped version of the Tiago EV with the same specifications.
The Tiago EV Blitz comes with a dual tone black and white paint job. It also gets 15-inch alloys that look meatier than the stock car. It also gets black grille, roof and ORVMs.
Coming to the insides, there has been no changes done. It retains the black and white finish of the stock Tiago EV. In terms of features, the car comes with automatic climate control. 8-speaker Harman touch screen music system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, auto headlamps and wipers amongst others.
This edition carries forward the existing specifications of the car. These read as a 61 PS and 110 Nm for the base model with a 19.2 kWh battery and 75 PS and 114 Nm along with a 24 kWh battery. In terms of range, the smaller battery is claimed to offer 250 km while the larger one offers 315 km on a single charge. Both these range numbers are based on MIDC numbers.
It is not yet known if Tata will bring this car to the dealerships. If it comes, it could be priced higher than the current Tiago EV prices, which start from INR 8.49 lakh and go all the way to INR 11.79 lakh.
While at present there is no direct competitor to the Tiago EV, the upcoming Citroen C3 EV could compete with the car in the near future.
Apart from the Tiago EV Blitz, Tata motors showcased a range of vehicles including the likes of Tata Sierra concept, Tata Curvv, some of the existing range of cars as well as truck and buses.
