Tata Motors has finally revealed all specifications of their most promising product till date, the Altroz premium hatchback. The Altroz will be launched in the coming weeks and it will rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, Honda Jazz, Hyundai Elite i20 & Volkswagen Polo. The Altroz petrol will use a 1.2L, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine producing 86 PS of power @ 6000 RPM and 113 Nm of torque @ 3300 RPM matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Both engines will come with Eco & City driving modes and will have a 37L fuel tank capacity. Kerb weight of the Altroz diesel variant is 1150 kg while the Altroz petrol weighs 1036 kg. Ground clearance remains the same at 165mm.
