The Altroz petrol will use a 1.2L, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine producing 86 PS of power @ 6000 RPM and 113 Nm of torque @ 3300 RPM matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Both engines will come with Eco & City driving modes and will have a 37L fuel tank capacity. Kerb weight of the Altroz diesel variant is 1150 kg while the Altroz petrol weighs 1036 kg. Ground clearance remains the same at 165mm.

Safety features on the Tata Altroz includes driver & passenger airbags, seat belt reminder for front occupants, central locking, speed sensing auto door lock, engine immobilizer, alarm system, ISOFIX child seat anchorage, front fog lamps with cornering function, child lock, ABS with EBD.

Other features on the Tata Altroz includes LED DRLs, projector headlamp, 16″ alloy wheels, dual tone paint scheme, ambient lights, 7″ coloured TFT MID, 7″ touchscreen infotainment system, 100 W Harman audio system, automatic climate control, engine start / stop button, power folding mirrors, rear AC vents, electric tailgate release, cruise control, rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps, sliding arm rest, cooled glovebox, and more…
