Tata Motors has introduced the future-ready product portfolio in the commercial vehicle segment that aims to ‘redefine transportation’. The entire range of future-ready vehicles are powered by efficient powertrains and features the brand’s “Premium Tough” design language, from sub-1 tonne to 55-tonne gross vehicle/combination weight (GVW/GCW) that caters to a wide variety of market demands.
The brand offers reduced Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to all users – fleet operators, mid-size transport operators and small transporters, with improved vehicle efficiency and overall performance through enhanced features and synchronised service intervals. Tata Motors also offers customised transport solutions to address industry-specific applications in every commercial vehicle segment such as M & HCV, LCV, SCV and PU along with passenger commercial vehicles, offering the widest array of vehicles in the segment.
For value proposition, Tata Motors has introduced the ‘Power of 6’, that improves the earning potential, offers more connectivity and performance. By introducing the technological upgrades Tata Motors aims to deliver higher fluid efficiency, excellent driving comfort and world-class connectivity features. The vehicles also feature higher power output, superior gear shifts, multiple driving modes, improved ergonomics and crash-tested cabins for the safety for the driver.
Tata Motors has also recently launched the next-generation connected vehicle solution for its Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle segment called Tata Motors Fleet Edge. The new-generation Telematics Control Unit Fleet Edge offers real-time insights for track and trace, vehicle health, driving behaviour, real-time fuel efficiency and fuel loss alert. Using Tata Motors Fleet Edge customers will also be able to track renewal dates of important vehicle documents ensuring reduced downtime.
The brand also launched the largest Tipper Truck in the Commercial Vehicle space called the Tata Signa 4825.TK which comes factory fitted with a 29 cubic metre tipper body and hydraulics. At 47.5-tonnes, the multi-axle tipper truck claims to be India’s largest tipper truck targeted for surface transport of coal and construction aggregates. The Signa 4825.TK is offered in two configurations – 10×4 and 10×2 for customer flexibility and application.
