Tata Motors passenger car prices going up by 0.8%

Tata Motors has announced that from 3rd August 2021, the brand will be increasing the prices on the passenger vehicle range. The brand has revealed that the Forever Range of Tata Motor Cars will receive a price hike on an average of 0.8%. But the brand will offer price protection to customers who booked Tata passenger vehicles on or before 31st August 2021. Tata Motors has also announced that it has set in motion a comprehensive ‘Business Agility Plan’ for the well-being of its business. The Business Agility Plan will protect and serve the interests of its customers, dealer partners and vendors. 

Tata Motors Dark Edition Cars

Tata Motors recently launched the Dark Edition range of vehicles in the Indian market. The new Dark Edition range includes the Tata Altroz, Nexon, Nexon EV and Harrier. The Harrier was earlier available in the Dark edition, but this time around, the new Harrier Dark comes with revisions in the cosmetic department. The Altroz Dark comes with a starting price tag of INR 8.71 lakh ex-showroom. The Nexon Dark is priced INR 10.40 lakh ex-showroom. The all-electric Nexon EV Dark comes with a price tag of INR 15.99 lakh ex-showroom. The Tata Harrier Dark edition now comes with a price tag of INR 18.04 lakh ex-showroom. 

Tata Motors Sales 

In July 2021, Tata Motors sold 54,119 vehicles in the domestic and international markets combined. Compared to the corresponding period last year, the brand sold 27,711 units. In the domestic market, sales stood at 51,981 units compared to 27,024 in July 2020. Looking at the commercial vehicle segment, Tata Motors sold 23,848 units in both domestic sales and exports. The brand saw 88% growth in the segment when compared to the corresponding month last year. 

Tata Motors Easy Finance Options

To propel the sales further, Tata Motors has joined hands with IndusInd bank offering new finance schemes on the New Forever Range of Tata Cars. The brand is offering a special low EMI option for the first 3-6 months. Also, the step-up scheme now comes with EMI options lowered by 60%. Customers can also opt for EMI options starting from INR 834/- per lakh per month, depending on the model.
