Tata Motors has launched a new limited edition version of their popular hatchback, the Tiago. The new Tata Tiago Wizz edition has been priced at INR 5.40 lakh ex-showroom, and will be available only in a 1.2L petrol engine option. The brand calls this limited edition version a premium iteration with quite a few cosmetic changes to wow customers this festive season. The Tiago was launched in April 2016, and has been a high volumes hatchback in the Indian market.
The 2019 Tata Tiago Wizz limited edition comes with a total of 10 changes inside 7 outside. On the exterior, the Wizz edition comes with a contrast painted black roof, orange accents on grille, orange accents on the dual tone alloy wheels, orange painted ORVMs and Wizz branding in chrome. Inside the Wizz edition, the car gets fabric seats with orange stitching, black inside door handles, grey gear shift knob, grey AC vent surrounds and orange painted accents around AC vents.
The petrol powered Tata Tiago Wizz runs with a 1.2L, 3-cylinder, Revotron motor with multi-drive modes. This engine produces 85 PS of power @ 6000 RPM and 114 Nm of torque @ 3500 RPM matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Tata Tiago rivals the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai Grand i10. The Tiago is a spacious and feature rich budget hatchback, and has brought Tata on a higher step when it comes to the sales race. The Tiago is soon going to get a facelift, possibly to debut at the 2020 Auto Expo in India.
