Tata Motors has launched the new Altroz Racer in the Indian market at the price of INR 9.49 lakh ex-showroom. The Altroz Racer comes with a new exterior and interior paint theme, advanced tech and a sporty turbo petrol engine. The brand will be retailing the Altroz Racer in three colour options – Pure Grey, Atomic Orange, and Avenue White.
Also, the Altroz Racer will be available in three variants – R1, R2 and R3 with a introductory price of INR 9.49 lakh ex-showroom for the R1, INR 10.49 lakh ex-showroom for the R2 trim and 10.99 lakh ex-showroom for the R3 variant. Furthermore, the Altroz Racer will only be available in a single turbo-petrol engine options with on a manual transmission on offer.
Altroz Racer – Design and Features
The new Altroz Racer comes with a sporty design theme. The car features a dual tone paint theme along with racing decals. The Altroz Racer also comes with colour-matched interiors as well. The brand reveals that the Racer will be the top-spec trim in the Altroz portfolio. Additionally, the brand revealed that the race car inspired hatchback will come with features such as a 26.03 cm infotainment and 17.78 cm TFT digital cluster.
Also, the car comes with automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic projector headlamps and rain sensing wipers. The Altroz Racer also gets ventilated seats, air purifier and iRA connected features on the top of the line trim. The Altroz Racer also comes with features such as an electric sunroof, steering mounted steering, Xpress Cool AC, Rear AC vents, cruise control and more.
Altroz Racer – Powertrain
Powering the Altroz Racer is a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. The engine produces 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The car also comes with a sporty exhaust note reveals Tata. The Tata Altroz Racer also comes with 6-airbags as standard.
In addition to the launch of the Altroz Racer, Tata Motors has also introduced two new variants the – XZ LUX and XZ+S LUX on the Altroz. The brand has also upgraded the XZ+OS variant in its Altroz range and the prices for the variants are – INR 9 lakh, 9.65 lakh and 9,99 lakh ex-showroom.
