Tata Harrier & Safari get new features, prices hiked

Planning to buy the Harrier or Safari in the coming days? This news article will definitely interest you. As per the latest reports, Tata Motors has introduced new features on the Harrier and Safari. This is because the carmaker has also increased the prices of the SUVs by up to INR 31,000.

What Are The New Features?

Tata is now offering USB Type-C charging ports in the front row as standard across all variants of the Harrier. For second-row passengers, this feature is available from the XZ trim and all variants above it.

Enhanced ESP, which includes safety features like panic brake alert, after-impact braking, and driver doze-off alert, is now available from the XZS variant.

The XZ+ variant now benefits from features like a wireless charger, usage analytics, monthly health report, drive analytics, auto and manual DTC check, an electronic parking brake, and disc brakes all around.

Customers opting for the Safari Gold Edition will now get the new iRA features. Meanwhile, the XZ+ variants get comfort head restraints as standard.

High Demand For Harrier And Safari

With these added features, the SUVs from Tata become even more appealing. Safari and Harrier share a fair share of a cult following in the country. With the demand running high for SUVs, both the products from Tata Motors have received an overwhelming response from customers. Tata has also launched a slew of special editions for both SUVs to keep the lineup fresh and up to date. Of all, the Dark Edition is one of the most successful special editions from Tata Motors.

Price For Tata Motors Range Of Products

Tata has recently announced an average price hike of 0.9 per cent across its products. This has been in effect since November 7, 2022. As a result of this price hike, the Harrier has gotten pricer by INR 10,000 to INR 31,000. Meanwhile, the Safari prices have gone up by INR 9,000 – INR 20,000.
