Tata Curvv Vs. Hyundai Creta – Price

Petrol

The Tata Curvv comes with a starting price of INR 10 lakh ex-showroom. On the other hand, the Hyundai Creta comes with a price starting at INR 11 lakh ex-showroom. While the fully loaded petrol variant of the Tata Curvv  comes with INR 17.50 lakh ex-showroom price for the manual the 7-speed DCA version is priced at INR 19 lakh ex-showroom. In comparison, the Creta with the naturally-aspirated petrol Creta comes with a price tag of INR 19 lakh ex-showroom for the IVT variant, the turbo-petrol version with the 7-DCT gearbox comes with a price tag of INR 20.15 lakh ex-showroom.

Diesel

The Creta with the diesel engine starts at INR 12.55 lakh ex-showroom and the Curvv with the diesel engine comes with a starting price of INR 11.50 lakh ex-showroom. In addition to this, the automatic variant of the Curvv diesel comes with a price starting at INR 14 lakh ex-showroom and the top-spec diesel model with the automatic transmission goes upto INR 19 lakh ex-showroom. On the other hand, the Creta diesel automatic starts at INR 20 lakh ex-showroom, while the top spec diesel automatic is priced INR 20.30 lakh ex-showroom.

Tata Curvv Vs. Hyundai Creta – Engine Specifications

The Tata Curvv is offered with three engine options a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine that makes 118 Bhp of power and 170 Nm of torque. The second options is a new 1.2-litre TGDi turbo-petrol engine that pumps 123 Bhp of power and 225 Nm of torque. The Curvv with the diesel engine is powered by a 1.5-litre motor that makes 113 Bhp of power and 260 Nm of torque. All the powertrain options comes with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed automatic.

The Hyundai Creta also comes with three engine options – a naturally aspirated 1.5 MPi petrol engine producing 115 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed manual gearbox or an optional IVT transmission. The SUV is also offered with a 1.4-litre TGDi petrol engine that produces 140 PS of power and 242.2 Nm of torque matched to a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission. The Creta also comes with a 1.5 CRDi diesel engine that makes 115 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque and comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
