Tata Motors first revealed the upcoming Altroz Racer hot hatchback at the Auto Expo 2023. The car was showcased again at the Bharat Mobility Expo this year. However, the launch dates of the Tata Altroz Racer were not announced. Now, media reports suggest that the brand could be planning to launch the Altroz Racer in June 2024.
Tata Altroz Racer Getting Ready for Launch
In about a month, the brand is likely to launch its fastest hatchback in the Indian market. Leaked images also reveal that the Altroz Racer will come with 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque. The engine is likely to be the same as the Tata Nexon, which is a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol motor matched to a 6-speed gearbox.
Tata Altroz Racer – Exterior and Interior Features
The Tata Altroz Racer is likely to come with a special livery distinguishing itself with other Altroz models. Also, the brand is likely to offer sporty themed interiors. Like its exteriors the upholstery is also likely to have racing stripes as well as colour matched accents.
In addition to the sporty interior theme, the Altroz Racer is also likely to be feature loaded. According to leaked images, the Altroz Racer is likely to come with a 10.25-inch central infotainment system and digital instruments cluster. Additionally, the Altroz Racer is also likely to come with ventilated leatherette seats, and voice activated sunroof.
Tata Altroz Racer – Powerful and Safe
On the safety front, the Altroz Racer is likely to bring its 5-star rating with it. Also, the brand is likely to offer 6 airbags as standard along with a 360-degree camera. Obviously, other standard kit like seatbelt reminders, reverse sensors etc come with the hot hatch without saying. Upon launch the Tata Altroz Racer will compete with the likes of the Hyundai i20 N Line.
