Vietnamese EV brand VinFast has announced it will reveal two of its electric SUVs at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The event, scheduled from January 17 to 22, 2025, will showcase VinFast's latest innovations and mark its entry into the Indian market. The VinFast e-SUVs: VF7 and VF9 VinFast will unveil the VF7 and VF9 e-SUVs at the expo. The VF7 is a compact five-seater SUV, while the VF9 is a larger seven-seater offering more space and advanced features. Both models are designed to cater to different customer needs and preferences. Design and Features The VF7 features a sleek and sporty design with full-width LED DRLs, trapezoidal housings for the lighting elements, and a curvy bonnet with distinctive grooves. It also boasts a panoramic sunroof, a 12.9-inch touchscreen, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as highway assist, lane centering assist, adaptive cruise control, and emergency lane keep assist. The VF9, on the other hand, offers a more robust design with LED headlamps, a large closed-off grille, and vibrant color options like Crimson Red, VinFast Blue, and Jet Black. It comes with a 15.6-inch infotainment system, keyless entry, air quality control, heated steering wheel, and a panoramic fixed glass roof. Performance and Range The VF7 is powered by a 75.3 kWh battery pack, offering a WLTP-rated range of up to 450 km. It comes in two variants: Eco and Plus. The Eco variant features a single motor setup with 204 hp and 310 Nm of torque, while the Plus variant has a dual motor setup with 354 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The VF9, with its larger 123 kWh battery pack, provides a range of up to 531 km. Both variants of the VF9 come with a dual motor AWD setup, delivering 402 hp and 620 Nm of torque. VinFast's entry into the Indian market is part of its broader strategy to expand its presence globally. The company has already set up a manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu, demonstrating its commitment to the Indian market. The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 will provide an excellent platform for VinFast to gather feedback from enthusiasts, potential buyers, and other stakeholders.
