TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of the refreshed Apache RTR 160 4V, now priced at INR 1,39,990 (ex-showroom). This latest iteration of the popular bike comes with several upgrades, including a golden USD suspension, new paint schemes, and advanced features. Key Upgrades and Features The Apache RTR 160 4V continues to be powered by a 159.7 cc, oil-cooled, fuel-injected, 4-valve engine that generates 17.55 PS of power at 9,250 rpm and 14.73 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox, ensuring smooth and responsive performance. One of the standout upgrades is the 37 mm upside-down (USD) front suspension, which replaces the traditional telescopic forks. This new suspension setup improves handling and ride quality, making the bike more agile and comfortable on various terrains. The suspension is finished in a golden shade, adding to the bike's sporty look. The bike also features three riding modes - Sport, Urban, and Rain, allowing riders to customize their riding experience based on the conditions. In terms of technology, the bike is equipped with TVS SmartXonnect, a Bluetooth-enabled system that offers turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and voice assist. The Glide Through Technology (GTT) allows for seamless commuting in heavy traffic by eliminating the need to synchronize the clutch and throttle levers.
