Aprilia took the stage at EICMA 2024 to unveil its highly anticipated Factory range, showcasing new technology and power that are set to redefine the brand’s motorcycle lineup. This new range is designed to enhance the riding experience with improved performance and cutting-edge features. Design and Features The new Factory range includes updated versions of Aprilia’s popular models, such as the RSV4 Factory and the Tuono V4 Factory. These bikes boast a more aggressive design with aerodynamic enhancements and lightweight components. The RSV4 Factory, in particular, features MotoGP-inspired winglets, a new aerodynamic fairing, and a revised chassis that improves stability at high speeds. Power and Performance Both the RSV4 and Tuono V4 Factory models are powered by the 1,099 cc V4 engine, which has been tuned to deliver 217 horsepower and 122 Nm of torque. This engine, combined with a refined electronics package, offers riders an exhilarating experience whether on the track or the road. The electronics package includes features like cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, and multiple riding modes to suit different conditions. Advanced Technology The new Factory range is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to enhance the riding experience. The bikes come with a 6-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) that provides precise data for improved handling and safety. The TFT display has been upgraded to offer better readability and connectivity options, allowing riders to stay connected via their smartphones. Additionally, the Factory range features full LED lighting, providing better visibility and a modern aethetics. Market Strategy Aprilia’s new Factory range aims to cater to both performance enthusiasts and everyday riders looking for a premium experience. The company plans to roll out these models in various markets, emphasizing the blend of Italian craftsmanship and advanced engineering. The pricing is expected to be competitive, making these bikes accessible to a broader audience. There is no clear indication if these will come to India.
