R18 Roctane

Exactly 10 years ago the R nineT was launched on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of BMW Motorrad. The new R12 nineT is now being presented for 100 years of BMW Motorrad. The new R12 nineT continues to be produced with the BMW boxer engine with a revised design language, customization and new technology. The R18 Roctane is a newly added 5th member of the R18 family. It has now joined R18, R18 Classic, R18B and R18 Transcontinental. R18 Roctane offers a conversion-friendly design structure. BMW R12 nineT BMW R12 nineT is available in the Heritage segment of BMW Motorrad. The motorcycle comes in a classic heritage design and retains the retro styling of the R nineT. R12 nineT has continued the tradition of the R32 which was produced 100 years ago. The motorcycle that is to be launched now, has a redesigned front mudguard, LED main headlamp with a black surround light guide, circular instrument cluster, LED tail lamp which is integrated in the seat for a short tail design. It also has LED turn indicators, single-sided-dual exhaust tips and Brembo front brake calipers. The expected date of launch for BMW R12 nineT is in the second half of 2023, according to BMW Motorrad. The R12 nineT is powered by an air/oil cooled, 1200cc, 2-cylinder boxer engine. The power and torque of the bike will be revealed soon. R18 Roctane BMW Motorrad R18 Roctane is a part of the R18 cruiser bike range. Its can be operated without the insertion of a key, making it a key-less ride. The R18 Roctane is powered by a 1,802cc, 2-cylinder, air/oil cooled, 4-stroke boxer engine which produces 67 kW of power and delivers more than 150 Nm of torque and can achieve the maximum speed of 180 kmph. This is the biggest BMW boxer engine on offer. It is equipped with 3 riding modes namely - Rock, Roll and Rain. This big cruiser bike features top loading side cases (27l each), dynamic cruise control, automatic stability control (ASC), full LED lighting, round dial-type speedometer, cast alloy wheels with a 21" rim at the front & 18" at the rear, heated grips and a host of BMW Motorrad accessories will be on offer.
