Tata Motors has corrected the prices on the Tata Altroz premium hatchback in the Indian market on all variants in the hatchback’s diesel option except the entry-level trim. The brand has revised the price list on the official website and when compared to the listing at the time of its launch at the start of 2020, a price difference of around INR 40,000 can be seen on select variants. The prices for the Diesel Tata Altroz start from INR 6.99 lakh and go up to INR 9.09 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. In all, there are 11 variants in the diesel line-up out of which the Altroz XE D remains unchanged and is priced at INR 6.99 lakh ex-showroom, rest see a price cut as shown in the table below. The Tata Altroz Diesel also received a price hike in August 2020 with around INR 16,000 across variants except for the base XE trim. The Tata Altroz Diesel is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that produces 90 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Tata Altroz is also powered by a three-cylinder 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque matched to a manual 5-speed gearbox unit. Both the engine are BS6 emission standards-compliant. Recently, Tata Motors also announced their partnership with Dream11 Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, under the association, the Altroz premium hatchback will be the Official Tournament partner. As the official partner, Tata Motors will showcase the Altroz, throughout the tournament, at all three locations in the UAE - Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Sharjah the three venues of Dream11 IPL.
